I'm an enthusiastic teacher and I love to share my thoughts and ideas on photography within a small, friendly group setting.
You don't have to be an experienced photographer to join in, all you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to spend a week or
two of quality time within an incredible landscape - focussing on the art of photography.

Isle of Eigg Isle of Eigg Scotland
6 day photographic workshop 2009 - Sept 14-19

The isle of Eigg is a short trip away from Mallaig on the west coast of Scotland.
It's a fascinating little island with some stunning geological features.

One of my favourite beaches in Scotland - the bay of Laig holds many fine foregrounds
for framing the distant Isle of Rum into your picture.

Glencoe Workshop

 Glencoe Scotland
3 day photographic workshop 2009 - Oct 16-18 / December 4-6

I'm doing a couple of long-weekend workshops in Glencoe late 2009.
This region is one of the most dramatic locations in Scotland and at this time of year the
light can be very special.

I've often experienced the earth shadow cast beautiful pink light over the surrounding snow
capped mountains and frozen lochans at this time of year.

Easter Island

Having photographed Easter Island extensively,

I'm pleased to announce that I will be conducting a photographic workshop there in 2009.

Easter Island is a special place, containing the mysterious Moai statues, an abundance of
archaelogical features, caves and volcanos.

Patagonia

I'm conducting an annual photographic workshop in Torres del Paine national park situated
in southern Chile ln April 2009..

Torres del Paine is one of my favourite national parks. It combines incredible mountain scenery,
wildlife, glaciers and turquoise lagoons into one unforgettable photographic journey.
